01 The Job
As an Events Manager on the Artists Team Events Manager, you will manage the planning process and participate in the design, strategy, and execution of partnership events, meetings and special events, generally focused on donor acquisition and fundraising. - Keep Christ central in our individual and corporate lives. Attend and participate in the leadership of devotions, weekly Chapel services, and regular prayer.
- Manage the design, strategy, and execution of partnership fundraising events, special events and meetings.
- Define the needed production elements of events through planning, logistics, budgeting, detailed communications, and oversight while complying with organizational policies and meeting goals.
- Engage with all appropriate WVUS staff members and leaders to set event strategy and ensure its effective implementation.
- Ensure event planning logistics including staffing, marketing collateral and materials, travel, shipping and responses are effectively managed, and all available knowledge and experience is utilized to ensure higher engagement and response.
- May serve as team lead when on-site, coordinating production roles and details necessary for staff, volunteers, and/or vendors to execute successful events. Provide oversight to paid representatives and unpaid volunteers when they are involved.
- As needed and in partnership with appropriate WVUS departments, oversee contract negotiations with vendors.
- Serve as liaison between contractors, organizers, and WVUS leadership regarding all facets of the event.
- Ensure proper execution of event preparation and production details.
- May have responsibility for event marketing.
- Report on event results, analyze effectiveness and recommend modifications to future event strategy is needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as part of a team.
- Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of the WVUS Intranet and other corporate communication tools.

04 You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (eight years). In addition to education or education equivalent, requires 4 years work experience including successful large-scale event planning/management.
05 Salary Range & Benefits
The full range for this position is $59,271.10 – $90,026.39 annually. This applies to locations with a market similar to our U.S. HQ in the Greater Seattle area. A different range may apply based on your work location. Typical hiring range is $65,000 – $75,000 annually. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity.
