RTI International is preparing for an upcoming activity in Indonesia
aimed at strengthening the resilience of key Indonesian institutions and
communities to better support vulnerable populations – particularly youth and
migrant workers. The project will be based out of Jakarta.
RTI is currently recruiting for a Senior
Technical Advisor. S/he will be a senior technical professional that will
provide crucial input to the design of activity work plans, the liaising and
building relationships with key institutions, and will contribute to the
overall achievement of activity deliverables and results.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
- A Master degree or higher and 7 years
work experience, or work experience of 10 years;
- Significant demonstrated experience
working on core outcome areas of the proposed activity, like community
resilience, peacebuilding, reconciliation, youth engagement reintegration, rehabilitation,
education, migrant workers, etc.;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively
with many types of stakeholders, including USAID, officials from various levels
of government, civil society, and others;
- Fluency in English (both spoken and
- Fluency in Indonesian language required;
- Demonstrated direct experience of
working in Indonesia required.
- Demonstrated and in-depth familiarity
with the political, historical, and economic landscape in Indonesia as related
to the problems of resilience and inclusion.
