The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for managing administrative, contractual, financial, and logistical aspects of the project. The PM will report to the Senior Project Manager. The preferred location for this role is in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project finances, including level of effort usage, and approval requirements, track incoming costs, project future expenditures, and prepare financial reports.
- Track and ensure on-time completion of client deliverables and other tasks across multiple ongoing activities.
- Coordinate contractual and financial matters for the project, including managing subcontractors.
- Participate in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of short-term technical consultants.
- Coordinate logistics and travel for headquarters employees and short-term technical consultants.
- Collaborate with the full MSI project team to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables, including but not limited to TPM reports, data quality assessments, and client presentations.
- Participate in the formatting and editing of deliverables, ensuring USAID branding and high- quality visuals are incorporated.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in international development, economics, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum two years of relevant work experience on USAID projects or other donors is required.
- Experience working in multi-cultural environments and build effective working relationships with clients and colleagues required, including managing above as well as below.
- Experience managing, evaluations, assessments, and similar research for USAID or similar donors preferred.
- Knowledge and familiarity with USAID regulations preferred.
- Strong budgeting and financial management skills required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
- Ability to travel if required.
- Fluency in English required. Proficiency in Arabic preferred.

Pay Transparency Statement:
We are committed to taking a thoughtful, compliant and equitable approach to employment compensation. We commit to providing a holistic comprehensive salary analysis, including reviews of individual skill sets and compensable factors related to qualifications, business needs, internal compensation data, and industry and labor market surveys. The anticipated pay range for this position is $62,000 to $69,000 USD.
