Cadmus’ International Development Division is actively seeking Project Associate candidates for a recently awarded USAID-funded contract in Southeast Asia.
The Project Associate will provide research, analytical, and administrative support to deliverable production under the supervision of a Chief of Party, as well as serve as lead project back-stopping support for the Home Office Project Manager.

The Project Associate will provide home office back-stopping support for a recently awarded USAID contract to be implemented by Cadmus in Southeast Asia. The Project Associate will support the Chief of Party and Senior Management team with both programmatic, administrative, and logistical support for short-term consultant deployments, subcontractor management and coordination, and Activity deliverables development.
Other tasks assigned may include:
- Provide support for the delivery of field work, specifically in the areas of democracy and governance programming; this includes, but is not limited to, conducting research and performing analysis in project specific areas, drafting reports and supporting overall deliverable preparation
- Provide support for project administration and oversight of project activities and outputs, including drafting and reviewing requests for client approvals, recruitment and staffing, support for work planning, overseeing consultant work
- Perform on an as-needed basis other assigned Project Management tasks
- The role will require international travel
- B.A./S. in economics, business, international development/affairs, or related field
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in economics, public affairs/administration, economics, business administration, or related field and a minimum of three to five years’ experience in a role relevant to international development
- Strong analytical and computer skills, including spreadsheet and financial tracking
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills (you will interact with employees, consultants, partners, clients, subcontractors, and vendors)
- Strong writing skills, which will be assessed during the hiring process
- Experience with USAID-funded and/or other donor-funded projects
- Relevant overseas work or internship experience in a developing country context

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.

The minimum starting salary for this position is $60,000. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
