General Purpose of Job
Duties include initiating, directing, and evaluating specific technical and administrative functions of unit/department projects on a day-to-day basis. Additional responsibilities include generating reports and providing detailed information on departmental project assignments and initiatives.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Manages special projects, programs and initiatives for the leader, department and/or the Association.
Manages and coordinates a specialized function(s) that requires expertise in a particular area(s) and the use of independent judgment.
Directs and reviews the work of a staff person(s) or temporary staff when required.
Associates degree (A.A.)
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred (Equivalent experience would include a minimum of an additional 3 years of the type of experience listed below). Must have working knowledge of appropriate software tools as well as strong internet research skills. Must possess 3+ years experience that demonstrates specialized knowledge and skills in an assigned field. Must possess strong communication skills. Must be able to work independently and handle multiple projects. This position may require testing.
