Cadmus is seeking qualified experts for an upcoming USAID-funded opportunity in Indonesia. Seeking experienced climate, disaster, governance, and resilience professionals to support upcoming donor-funded climate change adaptation and disaster preparedness service delivery in Indonesia.

Our team is looking for several experts with experience in the following technical areas:
- Climate change adaptation, mitigation, vulnerability assessments, and risk management
- Spatial Planning, GIS, data management and information systems
- Ecological resilience and natural resource management
- Mobilizing climate finance (public and private)
- Disaster risk reduction, preparedness, and management
- Climate responsive urban and rural land use planning
- Climate smart agriculture
- Urban nature-based Solutions
- Urban water & watershed management
- Water resource management and flood management
- Governance (experience working at the local, district, provincial, and national levels; working directly with communities and the private sector)
- Climate communication and stakeholder engagement
- Gender equality, disability, and social inclusion
- Finance/Admin, Grants and Operations
- Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, Learning, Adaptation
Candidates should possess direct and relevant professional experience in one or more of the areas above, prior experience working on donor-funded programs or projects, and proven consulting skills
- Advanced degree in relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of highly relevant technical experience, preferably in Indonesia
- Experience working in programs of a similar focus
- Experience working on USAID, DFID, EU, GIZ, World Bank, ADB or other donor-funded programs
- Experience working in a Southeast Asian context
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent English writing and speaking skills
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Experience managing teams
- Experience engaging with high-level government officials and private sector leadership
- Ability to adapt to an ever-changing context and work with ambiguity
Desired Qualifications (if applicable)
- Over 8 years of experience working on projects or programs funded by USAID or other international development assistance entities
- Prior management/leadership experience on USAID-funded projects
- Experience working in Indonesia and fluency in Bahasa
