The USAID-funded Famine Early Warning Systems (FEWS NET) Strategic Planning and Activity Design (SPADe) Support project, a global activity implemented by Tetra Tech International Development, is currently accepting expressions of interest for the Research Advisor position. This position can be fully remote from a continental US-based location or hybrid/remote within a commutable distance to either one of our office locations in Burlington, VT or Arlington, VA.
The Knowledge Management Advisor will use best practices to create information management plans, document lessons learned, and organize activity information from diverse databases and multiple sources. S/he will support activities in all project countries. This is a full-time position, through 7 April 2026.
Responsibilities:
* Assessing the information management needs and opportunities for project stakeholders;
* Identifying appropriate operational policies, actions, and approaches to strengthen the information management systems of project stakeholders;
* Assisting project stakeholders to develop and carry out information management plans, communication, and outreach programs;
* Identifying appropriate communication activities and programs to promote efficient and effective knowledge management best practices.
Qualifications:
* Master’s degree in a related subject matter area;
* At least 5 years of progressively responsible international work experience;
* Advanced skills in information management, learning methods, knowledge-sharing systems, and communications strategies to promote project learning;
* Demonstrated experience supporting the implementation of complex activities in multiple countries;
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French, Spanish, Portuguese, or Arabic is preferred;
* Ability to legally work in the US without employer sponsorship.

Pay Transparency Statement:
We are committed to taking a thoughtful, compliant and equitable approach to employment compensation and rate setting. The anticipated pay range for this position is $75,000 to $105,000 annually.
