The Information Management Case Tracking Specialist will be primarily responsible for supporting interventions under the Activity’s Objective 2: improving performance of anti-corruption institutions to combat, mitigate, and prevent corruption; focusing on strengthening information management and case tracking systems for evidence-based management and more effective and efficient management of corruption cases, including the transfer of cases between institutions. The Specialist will jointly with relevant government institutions assess and design/redesign information management and case tracking systems, coordinate implementation of systems across institutions, and build capacity for long-term sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessment of existing information management and case tracking systems to identify weaknesses, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement jointly with relevant government institutions.
- Conduct business process redesign exercise and develop interventions to strengthen or put in place information management and case tracking systems alongside government institutions.
- Provide inputs to the development of terms of reference/specifications for software development/customization and hardware procurement.
- Develop and deliver capacity building interventions and provide on-the-job training relevant staff in government institutions.
- Develop a sustainability plan to ensure systems continue to function beyond the duration of the project with government institutions.
- Support the development of comprehensive documentation on information management and case tracking systems processes and procedures.
- Support the establishment of quality control measures to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
- Support measures to ensure interoperability of systems across government institutions where relevant.
- Support other tasks as assigned by the Chief of Party.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required.
- Minimum five years of professional work experience required.
- Experience with assessing and designing information management and case tracking systems required.
- Experience with providing support to and coordinating activities among government institutions is required.
- Ability to maintain confidential information is required.
- Ability to travel to other project implementation locations and work harmoniously with colleagues from different cultural and professional backgrounds is required.
- Proficiency is using relevant Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
- Strong time management, activity organization, proactive problem-solving, service-oriented, and inter-personal skills required.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English is required.
