We are seeking public health specialists who can demonstrate the ability to plan and implement health programs and projects in the areas of:
- Health Service and Facility Planning
- General Health Consulting and Advisory
- Health Professional Practice Reviews and Audits
- Regulatory Health Advice
- Hospital Governance and Administration
- Clinical Governance Advisory
- Strategic Planning
- Operational Planning
- Project Management
- Change Management
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Gender equity and social inclusion experience
We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate:
- Experience in the health sector in both a developing and contemporary setting
- Experience working with bilateral and multilateral health partners
- An understanding of global developments in health
- An ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Prior experience in coaching, mentoring or developing the skill set of team members
- Ability to communicate with influence and shape strategic thinking and policy development.
- Ability to cultivate productive working relationships across teams
- Flexibility to travel throughout the Pacific region
- Willingness to commit to long-term deployments in Pacific nations is preferred
- Strong program/project management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Experience in implementing improved access to healthcare for women, children and people with a disability is desirable
- A proven ability and track record delivering some or all of the following advisory services:
- Health infrastructure business case and service delivery planning
- Health infrastructure planning and delivery
- Healthcare planning and implementation
- Capital project planning and implementation
- Health Procurement – Goods, Services and Works
- Facilities Management advisory
- Health administration and financial management
- Gender equity and social inclusion experience
- Health Monitoring and Evaluation – Demonstrated experience in reviewing and preparing project monitoring and evaluation frameworks, baseline data capture, documentation and reporting and in capacity building for data capture, analysis and reporting.
Qualifications.
- Post graduate qualifications in public health, health management or equivalent.
- At least 10 years in senior leadership roles within public health organisations.
