Starting salary for this position is £23,304 per annum (plus contributory pension)
About the role:
This is a great time to be joining MAG as we unveil a new five-year organisational strategy and an ambitious fundraising strategy to transform our income across the UK, US and globally. We have bold plans and a chance to invest in a new team that will secure growth. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team on a six-month fixed term basis to support the team with all aspects of supporter care and database administration.
As part of the Global Fundraising Team, this role will help build excellent relationships with our supporters, helping us to grow our income and reach more people affected by landmines and conflict around the world.
As the first point of contact for supporters and the general public, you will be handling telephone calls, emails, social media, and letters. You will be responsible for ensuring supporters feel valued and receive a personal thank you for their donations.
This role takes charge of the day-to-day processing of all types of donations, diligently following established procedures to ensure swift and precise recording. We’re on the lookout for someone with energy, exceptional attention to detail, a knack for handling data, and the flexibility to seamlessly support our growing fundraising team.
About you:
This role would be suitable for anyone wishing to get into Fundraising but essentially you will have some experience in administration and have worked with a database before. You will have exceptional communication skills, both written and oral and able to develop relationships with supporters. You will also recognise that our supporters make a real difference to MAG’s success in saving lives and building futures. Overall, you will be an outgoing team player, pro-active, determined and keen to help MAG achieve its lifesaving work.
