The Treasury Client Solutions (TCS) department is responsible for structuring
and executing transactions that provide IFC’s clients with innovative treasury
solutions, including local currency financing, derivative and risk mitigation
products, debt capital markets and structured finance solutions. The Treasury
Client Solutions department takes pride in contributing to innovative
transactions across emerging markets across providing solutions to IFC’s
clients.
TCS is looking for a dynamic and highly motivated finance professional with a
focus on structured finance products (securitizations, guarantees, covered
bonds, risk sharing facilities, etc). The candidate will have experience with
financial models and analyzing data for the purpose of structuring transactions
with clients. Knowledge and experience with derivatives (swaps and FX) and
asset-liability management will be greatly valued. This is an exciting

The position will cover the Asia Pacific region, and is based in Singapore.
Duties and Accountabilities:
• Contribute to day-to-day business delivery across TCS products,
programs and markets by developing, structuring and facilitating the execution
of local currency, funding and risk management transactions for IFC’s clients;
• Perform historical performance analysis on credit portfolios (e.g.
vintage analysis, assess marginal and cumulative default rates over time);
• Assist in the structuring of local currency and funding solutions for
clients through derivative and other treasury instruments;
• Prepare documents business development and investment decision
committees;
• Contribute to business development, and explain treasury products to
clients, regulators, and banks;
• Contribute to the team’s strong relationships with key stakeholders,
including investment banks, local banks, capital markets firms, development
finance institutions, and regulators;
• Apply financial models to structure, evaluate, and price transactions;
and
• Provide training and knowledge management services to colleagues and
external clients.
Selection Criteria
•
MBA/Masters (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering,
Mathematics, Law or related area;
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in finance, with the focus on
structured finance, and/or derivatives;
• Sound understanding of fixed income instruments combined with strong
analytical skills, problem solving capability and financial modeling skills;
• Demonstrated ability to structure and analyze various fixed income
instruments for corporate clients (including local currency loans, derivatives,
bond and/or structured finance). Solid understanding of asset-and-liability
management is a plus;
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in teams, attention to
detail and resourcefulness;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency
in another language is a plus; and
