The Career Path Expert will support Jordan’s Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC) by developing career paths, competency framework, and training paths for about 30 specialized positions. This is a short-term position from December 2023 to June 2024 and the maximum level of effort is 40 days.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a desk review of the existing related documents to analyze the current status, including the JIACC strategic plan, JIACC legislation and institutional frameworks, professional path for investigators developed by PAJ support, civil service bylaw, regulations in civil service, regulation and methodologies of job evaluation adopted by Civil Service Bylaw (CSB), modernization road map and HR strategy, to conduct benchmarks and best practice on the career paths of similar jobs and present study results to PAJ and JIACC.
- Develop professional and training career path for JIACC specialized positions, including creating road map professional paths, identifying training needs, creating training and development programs and creating competency framework (behavioral, managerial, and technical) for the targeted jobs.
- Build JIACC-related staff capacity to implement career path and competency framework.
- Present, discuss, and modify different versions of the required deliverables to JIACC and PAJ for approval and update it according to feedback.
- Submit regular progress report on the status of the project.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business management, human resources, industrial engineering, or any related topic required.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in related fields, including job evaluation and salary estimations, required.
- Experience implementing similar projects in Jordan and the Levant region.
- Experience with USAID or another donor.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written command of the English and Arabic languages required.
