Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the Vice President of Global Human Resources (VP, GHR) serves as the principal advisor on both strategic and operational issues.
The VP, GHR will be a seasoned global HR professional with the ability to build trust and cultivate strong relationships at all levels of the organization. She/he plays a pivotal role in developing innovative global human resources solutions that are aligned with short- and long-term business goals and support organizational transformation. This position directs all people functions of the organization, leads a Global HR Team, provides direct operational support and serves as an escalation point for people issues, promoting an appreciation of the critical importance of human resource management as central to the overall success of the organization.
This role holds two unique opportunities: To unite, build and shape a highly functioning environment and talent pool through shaping HR policies and procedures during this exciting time of the merger of two global organizations and second, to build and shape HR policies and procedures and develop the international workforce through hiring practices and candidate experiences.
This position will preferably be based in Washington D.C., or alternatively Baltimore, MD. The role will have frequent travel to Baltimore, MD and occasional travel overseas.
This is a full-time position. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
