This part-time role will assist the ASI Accounting team during the year-end close-out and audit preparation. Additionally, ASI is updating its accounting-related practices and procedures. This person will research alternatives and possible system improvements,
as well as help roll out new systems and procedures.
Primary activities include but are not limited to: Assist with preparing documentation for auditor requests; requesting support documents from the field; and assist in inter-company and field bank reconciliations.
In addition, this position will be responsible for researching accounting systems software related to timekeeping, payroll, invoices to donors, accounts payable, and travel expenses. They will also be involved in the implementation process of any new systems.
Minimum Qualifications include a Bachelorâ€™s degree and active enrollment in an accounting graduate degree program at an accredited university. Candidates must have strong organizational skills and the proven ability to work successfully as part of a diverse
team. Demonstrated excellence in verbal/written communication skills is required. High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
