RTI Health Solutions
(RTI-HS) currently seeks a senior project director to support expansion of our real-world
evidence (RWE) data collection services in Europe. As part of the Surveys and
Observational Studies team, the successful candidate will be responsible for a
range of activities including identification of patient, health care provider,
and other stakeholder recruitment sources, institutional and regional ethics
submissions, oversight of data collection and data management, and general
project management (e.g., development and coordination of timelines,
deliverables, routine client interaction).
The position requires experience in both designing and implementing
prospective (e.g., surveys, registries, observational field studies) and
retrospective (e.g., medical record abstraction) studies in Europe and the
technical proposals for observational research, with associated activities
patient and site recruitment methods
requests for proposals for subcontractors
study budgets and drafting proposal content
implement, and monitor data collection activities for prospective and
retrospective studies, including:
and monitoring of the study profitability,
study compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements e.g., (ethics
committees, adverse event reporting)
of and input into study materials (e.g., protocol, case report form, data
collection form, questionnaires, informed consent forms), finalization of data
collection tools (electronic CRF, paper, telephone, face-to-face)
identification, contracting and management as required by study design,
of programming and user acceptance for electronic data capture,
to study timelines and submission of client deliverables
of study communications internally and externally with clients and vendors
or Master’s level degree (or equivalent) in a research or health-related area.
least 10 years’ experience working in a CRO, industry, or academic research setting.
experience in health-related data collection or clinical research.
