This position is responsible for overseeing ICF Next’s creative and strategy teams – ensuring the agency is distinguished in the marketplace for delivering ingenious work for our clients.
In partnership with cross-functional leaders + partners across ICF Next, the creative + strategy lead will help shape the look and feel of the agency’s distinct POV and foster our artistic vision + cohesiveness sold to clients. This role also oversees our strategic planning capability – providing divisions and client leaders with the necessary business alignment, cultural insights and research to help develop powerful ideas and integrated marketing campaigns + programs.

Responsibilities:
Leadership + Team
-
Lead and manage team of 20+ creatives and strategists and grow next generation talent for the future.

Oversee and build strategic planning capabilities and ensure brand strategy gets engrained into ICF’s DNA.

Create a culture of creativity that nurtures, identifies, empowers and celebrates our talent and their work.

Provide guidance, structure and support for the integration between creative and strategy teams alongside account teams and client leaders.

Oversee production team for creation work across platforms – social, video, AR/VR, experiential, etc.

Lead from the front with a shared vision for what award-winning work is and delivering work that creates both business + societal impact.

Integrate talent across owned, earned and paid efforts to help ICF Next bring to life holistic solutions for our clients and their business needs.

Create an ideas-led approach that is grounded in conceptual thinking, world-class design and business impact.

Serve as executive creative + strategic sponsor or as prominent contributor to all new business pursuits.
Business Management:

Drive business growth in partnership with client teams and LoB leaders.

Manage teams’ overall profitability to meet financial targets + shared MarComm goals.

Oversee resource management of creative and strategy talent.

Deliver operational excellence for optimal effectiveness across the team.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 20+ years of experience in marketing and communications with demonstrated background leading and building high performance teams

Must-have industry expertise in CPG and lifestyle marketing, digital and tech, with energy/government exposure, a plus
-
Excellent client service skills and previous experience leading creative + strategy teams within key specialty areas

Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing communications, digital or related discipline
