The Senior Consultant will support the development of IMC’s rapidly growing international MEL portfolio. You will be working on free standing MEL related activities and collaboratively across the business to further develop the MEL portfolio with a wide range of clients in all the firm’s main areas of business.
In addition to working with other team members and helping shape the decisions on the work the team does, this will involve identifying opportunities, developing proposals, providing consultancy services and project management.
IMC are involved in a wide range of MEL activities. These include the design and delivery of MEL frameworks (theory of change, logframe, indicators, monitoring plans, design of tools and data collection/analysis), standalone programme
evaluations (theory based, quasi experimental and mixed methods approaches), and delivering better learning from monitoring and evaluation.
We are seeking strong MEL credentials in a range of technical areas, with an immediate requirement for those experienced or with an interest in infrastructure, finance, transport, livelihoods, SMEs, climate change and environmental management.
IMC are at the forefront of methodological development in various emergent fields and the preferred candidate will also be encouraged to contribute to IMC’s thought leadership in these areas and to bring diverse MEL methodological insights and skills to bear on IMC’s role and reputation.
