- Implement program activities under the direction of IFES Sri Lanka’s senior management and in collaboration with program staff;
- Achieve project requirements within budget, established time frame, standards of quality, and donor satisfaction;
- Establish, maintain, and develop productive working relationship with consultants, and partner entities;
- Coordinate with implementing partners and participate in meetings, discussions and events representing IFES;
- Provide facilitation support for trainings, workshops and seminars;
- Quality check all Tamil documents, training materials, reports;
- Collaborate with the Finance and Administration team on logistical arrangements for internal and external events;
- Provide input into regular programmatic reports to donors, M&E reports, research papers and other such materials;
- Provide support in the design and preparation of training materials;
- Closely monitor the activity schedule for programs implemented by IFES and ensure timely delivery;
- Ensure branding, marking, and reporting expectations are met;
- Any other duty or task as assigned by the senior management.

- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s Degree in international relations, political science, international development preferred;
- Minimum of 4 years overall work experience in the international development sector with at least 3 years’ experience in governance related projects;
- Experience in program management and design;
- Proficiency in MS Office applications;
Required Skills and Abilities
- The ability to remain highly organized while handling multiple tasks under tight deadlines;
- The ability to complete tasks with limited supervision;
- Excellent report writing and proposal drafting skills;
- Excellent communication skills in order to be able to work with partners and IFES program and administrative staff to identify and resolve issues;
- Willingness to adhere to all principles of confidentiality;
- Must value operating in a collaborative and cooperative environment;
- Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness;
- Ability to handle sensitive issues and address inclusion matters with integrity;
- Training/facilitation skills and experience would be an advantage;
- Strong communications skills with fluency in English and Tamil is required;
