|. Contribute to the strategic development and implementation of IFES El Salvador programming within the framework of the assigned budget and in accordance with the approved annual work plan, while ensuring the effectiveness, quality and timeliness of project activities.
. Supervise specific project activities, including capacity building of electoral management bodies, electoral modernization, and increasing inclusive civic participation, as directed by the Country Director
. Supervise support staff and consultants in the country
. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, donors, and partners.
. Organize the planning, administration and logistics of special events and key acquisitions in accordance with IFES and USAID policies and procedures.
. Write technical reports and documents.
. Other assigned functions.
|. At least 5 years of experience working in international program management, especially in democratic development, elections and / or political financing.
. Experience working with USAID or other international donors strongly preferred.
. Required fluency in Spanish.
. Proficiency in English preferred.
. Bachelor’s degree in political science, international relations, or a related field, preferably with a Master’s degree.
. Strong analytical skills and ability to take initiative and work both independently and in a team.
. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
. Proven experience working with electoral commissions is preferred.
. Proven experience working in a USAID funded program is preferred.
. Basic computer skills are required (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
