The SAFEty Initiatives programs provides residential services for unaccompanied minors as well as Home Study and Post Release Services (HSPR) for children ranging in age from infants to seventeen years old who have entered the country without documents and without their parents. Fostering an atmosphere of family and security, we attend to the emotional, legal, medical, educational, and recreational needs of the children until they can be reunited with their families either in the U.S. or in their home country. The Home Study and Post Release Program provides preplacement assessments to ensure the safe placement of unaccompanied children in their proposed home as well as post release services to support families in adjusting to reunification.
This position will coordinate the case management services of the Home Study and Post Release team, and train and supervise the case management staff. This position will also be responsible for carrying an individual caseload and for providing direct service. It will include both local and out of state travel for the purpose of conducting home visits. This position will establish and maintainrelationships with subcontractors in multiple States and monitor their service provision according to the terms of their agreements.
