Job Title: Program Associate, Business Development
Corus is looking for a candidate who is passionate about strengthening the Business Development team, and comfortable working across Corus departments to navigate towards solutions to proposal development challenges.
What You Will Do: You will support the efficient functioning of the unit, which includes the Business Development unit, the Cost and Pricing unit, and the Foundations and Strategic Partnerships unit. You will also support the team in the business acquisition process beginning with donor engagement through award negotiation.
Location: Hybrid work schedule in Washington, DC or Baltimore, MD
What You Need:
- Fluency in French, Arabic and/or Spanish preferred.
- Willingness to travel internationally, at least 10% of the time to countries where Corus works.
- Experience supporting proposals to USAID, US Department of State and/or major foundations.
- Mastery of MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Web Conferencing Applications, information management systems.
- Excellent communicator-verbal and written.
- Strong facilitation skills.
- Able to collaborate with a diverse work force.
- Proactive and flexible work style, capable of identifying and responding to shifting priorities.
