Banyan Global is seeking Ugandan candidates for a PRIVATE SECTOR ENGAGEMENT ADVISOR for the upcoming Integrated Child and Youth Development (ICYD) Project in Uganda. The ICYD project will address the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)/Uganda’s development objectives relating to child wellbeing, education, and youth development. This activity will build on USAID’s previous work, including the Better Outcomes for Children (BOYC) project and the Sustainable Outcomes for Children (SOCY) project, and will focus on the integration of technical services and sectors, building lasting partnerships with Ugandan institutions, and strengthening local capacity and ownership so the program can be transitioned to local Ugandan organizations. More specifically, the role of the ADVISOR will be to play a leadership role in identification of relevant private sector strategies, partners, and collaboration and alliances across the project’s task areas that will lead to high-impact local partnerships.
The position is based in Uganda for the life of the project. Only Ugandan candidates will be considered.
