Administration and Logistics Officer
Background: DAI is an international consulting firm headquartered in the United States with branch offices in Mozambique. DAI is accepting CVs from candidates for a n Administration and Logistics Officer for the USAID Office of Transitions Initiatives (OTI)-funded Mozambique program.
Responsibilities: The Administration and Logistics Officer reports to the Deputy Chief of Party- Operations (DCOP-Ops) and will support administrative and logistical tasks for the program. This position is based in Pemba, Mozambique. This is a local hire position and applicants must have the legal right to work in Mozambique.
Support administrative functions including translation, office management, travel, and file maintenance. Ensure that project records are maintained in accordance with DAI’s records management procedures (Record Map Policy) and keep the project records map current. Manage daily administrative and clerical services for the program team. Organize, manage, and process all official program correspondence. Process requests for services including translation of documents. Procure and maintain office supplies.
Support management of all project property acquired, leased, or otherwise obtained throughout the asset’s lifecycle: from initial receipt through accountability and custody, until formally relieved of accountability by authorized means, including disposition, or through a completed evaluation and investigation for lost, damaged, destroyed, or stolen property.
Additional duties as assigned by the DCOP-Ops that are consistent with the overall focus of the assignment.
University degree in relevant field required.
Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible experience in administrative, procurement and/or operational man agement required.
Strong computer skills (MS Office suite) required.
Experience with international donor funded programs preferred.
Relevant experience working with non-governmental organizations, nonprofit organizations, or private sector in Cabo Delgado preferred.
Fluency in one of the local languages of Cabo Delgado, such as Mwani , Makua, Makonde, or Swahili .
English and Portuguese language skills are required.
