Job Title: Analytics Specialist Global Food & Resilience
Reports To: Project Director
Type: Regular Part-Time
IBTCI seeks an Analytics Specialist for the Monitoring and Evaluation Support Services proposal for USAID’s Bureau of Resilience and Food Security (RFS). The purpose of the project is to provide ongoing technical consultancy services to the RFS bureau for building the M&E capacity of its staff.
This position is contingent upon award. Security clearance at the “Facility Access” level will be required after the award of the Task Order. Evidence of security clearance at the time of the proposal is preferred.
Essential Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Use analytics software to design and conduct monitoring, evaluation, and research activities.
- Prepare analytic deliverables, such as analytic dashboards or evaluation reports.
- Manage the development of and support for information system software solutions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- At least five (5) years’ experience working with data visualization or analytics software, such as SPSS or STATA.
- At least three (3) years’ experience working in monitoring and evaluation of USAID programming.
- Proficiency in managing large survey data sets.
- Demonstrated ability to portray complex data sets in easy to understand formats, including visualization.
- Oral and written fluency in English required.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Security Clearance Preferred.
- French, Spanish, or Portuguese skills a plus.
Working Environment: Work is typically performed in an office environment.
Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Travel: International travel may be required and may include travel to fragile and/or conflict-prone zones.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
