Set up or support the Logistics Function during emergencies and recovery by:
• Assist Emergency Coordinator in managing and monitor the budget(s) according to Financial Handbook and donor requirements.
• Assist Emergency Coordinator to develop Plans of Action and SoPs to be used in the event of quick on set emergencies
• Support in identifying potential partners with whom assessments and emergency interventions could be established projects in Myanmar.
• Support & training field emergency assistant and local partner staff
• Provide appropriate training activities to emergency project staff in collaboration with Emergency Coordinator
• Supervise and support emergency assistant with mapping of and building capacity of CBOs on early warning systems, emergency response and protection fundamentals and lifesaving practices and preparedness planning
• Support and supervise the dissemination information as part of awareness raising campaigns
• undertake any other duties assigned by the Emergency coordinator and when required;
• direction and management to emergency assistant including the development of job descriptions and work plans
• Coordinate cash voucher/NFI distribution to potential beneficiaries and work closely with Education team
• Record lessons learning and improve the efficacy and effectiveness of the organization
• Contribute to emergency proposal development
• Follow up, collect compile and update emergency related national and state/regional information and create emergency data base.
• Prepare progress and final reports of projects
• Undertake any other related tasks that the line manager considers

Contract Period: Up to end of December 2019 with possible extension
Duty Station: Bhamo and Lashio, but covering all of Northern Shan state or to any emergency site as necessary
