MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical advice, general support, contributions and programmatic contents for a wide range of election-related technical topics, including electoral disputes, capacity building for civil society organizations (CSOs), inclusion, etc. under the BEACON-DG project.
- Provide technical support for the development and implementation of civil society trainings.
- Provide technical guidance and engage in dialogue and coordinate with a wide range of Guinean CSOs stakeholders, including traditionally marginalized groups.
- Support the development of training contents and design and / or facilitate training for the CENI and the Guinean judicial sector.
- Maintain contact with stakeholders in the CENI, the judicial sector, and within CSOs in order to support the implementation of capacity building initiatives.
- Support the general implementation of project activities, including some administrative duties.
- Represent the Resident Country Representative at offsite venues/events as directed or delegated.
- Draft activity reports, collect monitoring and evaluation data, and participate in the drafting of quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports.
- Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in law, political science, international relations, international development or other related field required. Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of overall work experience with elections, civil society, or general international development sector.
- Strong experience with electoral laws and procedures in Guinea.
- Good communication, planning and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Strong command of French required. English proficiency a plus
TRAVEL: Occasional travel outside of Conakry for activity implementation
