Overall Function
The Director of ERP Applications will lead a team of technical staff responsible for the maintenance and development of new functionality in the ERP system, coordinate with vendors and consultants for necessary support, and liaise with key stakeholders to ensure adoption and ease of use. This position plays a critical role in working with the IT leadership and stakeholders in setting the vision and strategy of the ERP ecosystem, ensuring that the necessary guidance, processes and resources are in place to drive successful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee the architecture and design of functionality within the NetSuite Financials system including writing business requirements and project planning
· Collaborate with the HRIS team on Workday HCM support and security, ensuring interoperability with integrated systems
· Collaborate with Finance Accounts Payable team to support their administration of Concur for expense reporting, managing the system integrations with NetSuite
· Ensure first class support, training and onboarding of users to drive NetSuite adoption
· Manage development, testing and deployment of system integrations NetSuite and Salesforce, and oversee integration consultant relationships
· Formulate and document long-term strategic plans to meet the expanding needs of the organization, particularly with global growth
· Play a leadership role in the IT department to coordinate on resource demands and decision making, as well as maintain awareness of other teams’ projects and their impacts on ERP systems
· Manage a small team comprised of NetSuite administrators and subject matter experts as wells IT generalists tasked with administering web/SaaS applications like Zendesk and Slack, and provide guidance and support to ensure success in their goals and tasks
· Develop close working relationships with business stakeholders in Finance, HR, and Operations to identify functional requirements and shape the long-term vision for the ERP ecosystem

Qualifications
· 10+ years of overall technology and application development or support experience
· 3+ years leading a technical team of administrative and IT generalist staff
· Significant expertise with NetSuite Financials or similar ERP systems
· Expertise with Workday or other HCM systems, Salesforce or other CRM systems, and expense reporting systems such as Concur, and experience with architecting and maintaining data integrations between ERP and such systems
· Excellent facilitation, verbal and written communication skills that can be used to illicit technical needs, develop and document requirements, communicate status, develop and sell business cases, etc.
· Ability to describe complex technical processes to audiences with varying levels of technical background
· Experience with non-profit fundraising and accounting practices preferred
· High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing projects and priorities simultaneously
· Proven experience of managing products, budgets and justifying resource needs to senior leaders and finance partners
· Demonstrates self-awareness, cultural competency and inclusivity, and ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders across diverse cultures and backgrounds
