To support our recent growth in the northeast region we are currently seeking a Deputy Portfolio Lead to support ICF’s work implementing a large residential energy efficiency portfolio. You will support the development and management of multiple energy efficiency programs and build relationships with our utility client/partners as you work with them to design and implement program strategies. You will work directly with the Portfolio Lead to provide day-to-day management/leadership support and mentor current ICF energy efficiency professionals, bringing your expertise, best practices, and resources from across our business and industry, to promote their development and support their success in the delivery of important programs, projects, and tasks for our client(s).

What you will be doing:
-
Coordinate various functions associated with a large portfolio of residential energy efficiency programs including IT, marketing, customer service, operations, invoicing, and program implementation staff, ensuring collaboration and coordination is ongoing

Track overall portfolio/KPI metrics, budgets, performance, and subcontracts and provide recommendations for improving on any of these components when risk is present

Project manage, coordinate, and track various activities underway, planned and/or yet to be determined to enhance the delivery of each of the programs

Prepare plans, proposals, and presentations to support client requests

Guide portfolio Program Managers and subcontractors during monthly forecasting process; ensuring proper planning and inputs/assumptions are considered to establish accurate forecasts

Support Portfolio Lead as backup point of contact for executive and senior leadership with client(s) across multiple existing and future initiatives related to energy efficiency, distributed energy resources, advisory services, and other relevant utility interests

Day-to-day management and mentoring of Program Managers

Report on portfolio performance, business development opportunities, and overall strategy for division growth
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
-
Bachelor’s degree (concentration in Environmental Studies, Energy Resources, Policy, Engineering, Marketing, Project Management or Business Management a plus)

10+ years of experience in an energy or energy related field (experience developing, designing, and managing successful energy efficiency and/or demand reduction programs for the residential and/or business market segments a plus)

5+ years of experience leading projects

Pay Range – There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$110,037.00 – $187,064.00
