Banyan Global is a women-owned and managed international development consulting firm based in Washington, DC, with staff working in a number of countries across the world. Banyan Global operates within six practice areas: gender, health, finance and investment, enterprise development, youth, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
Banyan Global leads a wide range of flagship gender research and implementation activities for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), including the USAID Gender Integration Technical Assistance (GITA) II Task Order. The GITA II Task Order makes available global, on-demand, rapid-response, short-term technical assistance (STTA) on gender integration to USAID Missions and Bureaus across multiple sectors and in crisis and non-crisis settings. Under the GITA task order, Banyan Global has carried out ten country-level gender (or gender-based violence) analyses and assessments (under individual “work orders”) to inform USAID mission strategic planning.
Banyan Global is hiring a Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) to manage technical work under GITA II. The DCOP’s main duties will include managing multiple GITA work orders, including consultant hiring, supervision, and onboarding; providing technical guidance to consultants; and reviewing and ensuring high quality technical deliverables. The DCOP also supports the Chief of Party (COP) to develop and maintain GITA-II operational standards and quality control for all deliverables. The DCOP will be based in Washington, DC and report to the GITA II Chief of Party.
