PATH Kenya seeks a Deputy Chief of Party, Technical for an upcoming multi-year USAID-funded “Local Partner Service Delivery Activity (LPSDA) – OVC Activities” project in Kenya. This project will increase use of quality county-led social services in selected counties in Kenya. These will be service delivery activities providing key OVC and adolescents services at the county level that contribute to the attainment of the Government of Kenya’s (GOK) goal of safeguarding the rights and welfare of children and adolescents impacted by HIV/AIDS.

The Deputy Chief of Party, Technical will be responsible for technical oversight of the Activity and is specifically responsible for project implementation that relates to facility and community level service delivery. The DCOP reports directly to the COP and will take a leadership role in ensuring quality technical implementation and ensure the Activity meets stated goals and reporting requirements. S/he will assume the responsibilities of the COP in their absence. S/he will coordinate among USAID and key stakeholders and other implementing partners and will interact with numerous GOK institutions and representatives, particularly at the county/facility level. S/he will take a technical leadership role in coordination with GOK and other partners. S/he will be knowledgeable about current implementation science and state-of-the-art HIV, OVC, and adolescent service delivery approaches.
