- Work with Electoral Management Bodies (EMBs) of the Northern Triangle countries to strengthen their public awareness programming and voter information campaigns, including design, production and delivery of sensitization materials;
- Provide EMBs with substantive inputs on clear and efficient messaging to inform voters and other stakeholders about the electoral process, including the voting system;
- Support the development, update, or tailoring of an institutional work plan and timeline for streamlined communication with voters via both traditional and new media;
- Propose strategies to detect and address rumors and disinformation around elections;
- Support the development of communications materials including press releases, statements, social media posts, and tools;
- Provide additional support to the EMBs’ communications departments as needed;
- Provide IFES communications on the project’s progress including press statements and IFES.org web stories

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, international development, political science or a related field;
- Minimum 10 years working on strategic communications, media relations, or public affairs;
- Demonstrated experience working in elections or international development preferred;
- Experience working in Latin America;
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment;
- Creative and innovative thinker;
- Fluent in Spanish and English, oral and written.
