PATH is a global nonprofit dedicated to achieving health equity. With more than 40 years of experience forging multisector partnerships, and with expertise in science, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales up innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing health challenges.
PATH seeks a Chief of Party (COP) for the upcoming multi-year USAID-funded “Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Activity” (MSNA) in Ethiopia. The MSNA will support the Government of Ethiopia and other key stakeholders to strengthen nutrition outcomes through multi-sectoral approaches and coordination.
PATH works to accelerate health equity by bringing together public institutions, businesses, social enterprises, and investors to solve the most pressing health challenges. PATH implements innovative, sustainable health solutions that align with the country’s needs and priorities, empowering millions to transform their own health. Since 2007, PATH has collaborated with Ethiopia’s Federal Ministry of Health, community groups, and other partners to strengthen the country’s public health systems and address the most pressing health threats. We implement high-impact, evidence-based, sustainable programs to support those most at risk.
The COP will have primary responsibility for liaising with USAID and other stakeholders in Ethiopia. They will provide leadership and management for the project, providing the technical vision and approach and managing the project team and consortium members. They will ensure the project complies with award terms and conditions, USAID policies and regulations, and systems are in place to mitigate risk of fraud, waste, and abuse. The COP will make sure the project is well linked and coordinated with other USAID projects in the country as required. They will make sure that project achieves results, including deliverables, in an effective and compliant manner.
