IFES is an international, nonprofit organization that supports the building of democratic societies. IFES provides targeted technical assistance to strengthen transitional democracies. Founded in 1987 as a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization, IFES has developed and implemented comprehensive, collaborative democracy solutions in more than 120 countries.
IFES is currently implementing a USAID funded project in Haiti which seeks to promote more credible, inclusive and peaceful elections through targeted technical, training and logistical assistance to local organizations. Through this project, IFES’ will enhance the capacity of civil society to participate more effectively and to foster an inclusive political and electoral process.
To this end, IFES is seeking two (2) accredited BRIDGE (Building Resources in Democracy, Governance and Elections) Facilitators to carry-out the implementation of BRIDGE trainings on one or all the following topics:
1. Civic Education/Voter Information

In collaboration with the Chief of Party/Communications and External Relations Advisor, the consultant will:

|Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and proven knowledge and expertise in the topics of the trainings, is a plus
French fluency is compulsory
Official accreditation as Bridge Facilitator
Expert and/or Accrediting level is a plus
Experience implementing BRIDGE trainings
Ability to work well with minimal supervision, plan activities, and meet deadlines.
Strong professional and collaborative skills when working with a team.
Competency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Previous experience working with local grassroots organizations would be an added advantage.
