The Application Support Manager is responsible for providing support for the core banking applications-ORBIT-R and related applications and interfaces such as BREFT Switch,POS,Aruti and other third party systems.He/She will interface with the Business in relation to new products setup on the core banking application and is responsible for applications setup,resolution of all application functional issues raised by the business,works closely with regional reporting team to ensure business reports are available and must ensure that all users are supported and can effectively use the core banking systems and applications for the purpose of their working needs.The Applications Support Manager will work closely with the key functions to understand and meet there is needs in support of FINCA Zambia’s overall Business Strategy.
Job Requirements
-2 years of experience within a technical support environment,including Database administration,core banking applications and other software experience.
-Proven ability to resolve problems efficiently,experience programming in a database query language will be an added advantage.
-Proven experience as a Applications Support Manager.
-Ability to recognize competence level of the user and adress situation appropriately.
Qualification
-Degree in Computer science or equivalent.An ITIL Certification is an added advantage.
-Microsoft or related professional certification is ideal.
-Experience of not less than 2 years in information systems position in a reputable financial services organization or related institution.
